Personally, I felt like this series was a “slow burn” type of reading. When I first started Hush, Hush, I wasn’t all that interested; by the end of book one I was addicted and ended up reading the whole series over the weekend.... while travelling with family. Not an easy feat, but one that had to be done with the books. Without posting any spoilers, I will say that the ending to this book happens pretty quickly. With how much time was spent on certain events for the first three quarters, you’d expect the last quarter of the novel to be more in depth-especially since lots of huge things happen. The book has excellent twists, but moments seem rushed at the end. Also, I had to keep reminding myself that Nora is 17, because this book depicts her as exceptionally more whiney and childish. At times I had to put it down because her irrationality would upset me. Overall, I’m sad to say goodbye to the characters that I’ve grown to love. Wish that there was more to the story.... there are a lot of open ends that could allow for more...
